Yorick
Learn how Yorick counts discarded cards, how its XMult grows, when it has enough rounds to pay off, and which run conditions slow it down before you keep it.
Verdict: Take Yorick early when you can discard consistently; treat a late pickup as a timing calculation, not an automatic legendary keep.
How the scaling works
- The counter uses cards discarded, not the number of discard actions. Discarding five cards advances the counter by five.
- Each completed group of 23 discarded cards adds X1 Mult to Yorick's current multiplier.
- Fewer available discards and a late acquisition both reduce the number of upgrades Yorick can realistically reach.
Take or skip
- Take it when the build can keep discarding without sacrificing the hand plan and several rounds remain.
- Skip or sell it when every Joker slot must contribute immediately and the next 23-card breakpoint is unlikely.
- Judge Yorick by the next reachable breakpoint; its current XMult alone does not show the cost of waiting for another upgrade.
